This morning I woke-up to a trojan virus creeping around my computer, disguising himself as antivirus software, then chomping my antivirus software to bits and blocking it from working its mojo. I had to resort to some pretty drastic measures to get rid of it, and now think I need to take the laptop to the Geek Squad much as Chloe does to me with one of her broken toys, "*looking sheepish* I broke it. I'm sorry."
It's messed up. I'm missing critical files in almost all of my programs (I suppose because that's how much the virus had spread....) and am only able to be on the internet right now because I have the back-up recovery cd in the drive. But, mind you, I can't actually unload said recovery files back onto the laptop because I'm missing some kind of critical file. It's all very weird.
So, all of this is to say I might be gone for a bit. I'm not sure at this point. Just warning you.
In food related news, I made the Midwestern Boil with cranberries last night and it was delicious. I had wanted to make Hawaiian pizza tonight, but that ain't happenin' with everything going on today. :/
